Aalborg Portland assume social responsibility, first of all when it comes to our employees - and we show human interest in all groups of employees.
Taking the possibilities of the company into consideration, we try to consider the interests of employees with severe and/or long-term illnesses or other social vicissitudes making it impossible for them to work.
In such cases we do as far as possible try to keep the employee at Aalborg Portland, for instance through relocation, reduced working hours in the first period after returning to work, flex job, and leave solutions.
Each case is a matter of individual considerations and solutions. Therefore an employee cannot expect or demand particular solutions just because they have been used before.
We treat people alike by treating them differently!
For employees getting on for retirement we take individual considerations in order to ensure a suitable balance between the possibilities of Aalborg Portland and the needs and wishes of the employee.
