As part of the strategy for future growth and development, Aalborg Portland A/S and Unicon A/S have as of June 2008 been organized into a company structure, consisting of two main business regions:
Nordic and Overseas
Aalborg Portland creates the present and the future buildings with its four product groups: Grey cement, white cement, ready-mixed concrete and aggregates. The products are sold to our customers on the Global construction market.
Aalborg Portland is a global company and is the market leader in Scandinavia and the world’s largest player in white cement, with export to a number of markets worldwide.
We attain this through sales companies and sales offices in Norway, Sweden, Iceland, Poland, Russia, Italy, Portugal and Australia. The products are manufactured at our plants in Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Egypt, China, Malaysia and the USA.
Aalborg Portland has a turnover of 445 million EUR and employs around 1,700 employees.
